How Bin Service Works
Reliable Service from Start to Finish
No jargon, no runaround. Here is exactly what happens from your first call to your final invoice.
Step 1 - You call. We ask a few questions. Good ones, we promise.
What are you getting rid of? Is it heavy, light, clean, mixed, a little, a lot? And when do you need the bin?
We ask because the right bin and the right loading plan can save you money. Nobody wants to pay for more bin than they need — or discover halfway through the job that they needed more bin than they ordered.
Step 2 - We give you a quote. Usually right then and there.
Most jobs can be quoted right over the phone, and we’ll follow up by email so you have the numbers in writing. No mysterious pricing. No trying to remember what someone told you three days ago.
Site visits are rarely needed. Steep driveway? Tight access? Slightly questionable bin location? We can usually take a look using satellite and street view before sending a truck your way.
Step 3 - We send over the service agreement. Yes, there are rules.
Our service agreement covers what can go in your bin, what shouldn’t go in your bin, and what can cost extra if it sneaks in there anyway.
We’d much rather explain it before your project starts than send you a surprise charge afterwards. Surprises are for birthdays, not disposal invoices.
Step 4 - You book. We make it official.
Homeowners secure their booking with an EFT, Visa or Mastercard deposit, processed on the day of delivery.
Contractors and commercial customers can apply for a pre-approved account — because if bins are becoming a regular part of our relationship, we might as well make things easy.
Step 5 - The blue bin arrives. Usually within 24–48 hours.
Your bin comes with 7 days onsite included.
Our drivers have final say on placement because they’re the ones who have to safely put several thousand pounds of steel exactly where you want it. They’ll also keep an eye out for your property, and we can place wood under the bin rails to help reduce the risk of damage to your driveway.
You point. We’ll do our best. Physics gets the final vote.
Step 6 - You fill it. Then give us a call.
When you’re finished, give us 24–48 hours notice and we’ll arrange pickup.
Running a multi-bin job? We can often swap your full bin for an empty one in the same trip, so your crew can keep moving instead of standing around admiring a very full blue box.
Step 7 - We weigh it, grade it and send the final invoice.
The receiving facility weighs and grades your load. Your flat weekly service fee and disposal charges are listed separately on your itemized invoice, which is emailed directly to you.
Simple. Transparent. No creative math.
What You Pay For
Our pricing has two parts: the bin service and what you put in it.Your flat weekly service fee covers delivery, 7 days onsite and pickup. Disposal is separate and based on the weight and grade of your material once the receiving facility processes the load.
Clean, separated materials such as dirt or concrete are graded differently from mixed loads. That’s why we spend a little extra time at the beginning helping you choose the right bin and understand what should — and shouldn’t — be mixed together. Better planning can mean better disposal rates, less waste and fewer surprises. Contractor and preferred-customer pricing is also available for customers running multiple bins.
We’re not trying to be the cheapest bin company in the Lower Mainland, and we’re certainly not trying to be the most expensive. What you’re paying for is good service. A real person answers the phone. We explain the costs before you commit. We show up when we say we will. And when something unexpected happens — because construction — we work with you to sort it out.
Good bins. Good people. No garbage service.
